Edit Mode

Using the edit plugin tool allows you to edit content inside a plugin as well as the configuration of that plugin. This will likely be your most used tool on Jolojo.

Click on the "Edit Plugin" icon in your left hand side task bar - this will put you into edit mode.

Choose the plugin on the page that you would like to make changes to. Each plugin will become highlighted as you hover over them to help you select the correct one.

Once you have completed the changes within the plugin, whether it be changing an image of an image plugin or adding a field to a contact form; click Save in the plugin modal, this will then let you preview the changes - to lock in your changes once more click the Save button again. This will then save the changes you have made.

Editing Options

When editing a plugin, you may notice the options in the top toolbar giving you a few more choices when editing plugins. These are the default icons:

  • Save - The save icon will need to be used each time you make a change to a plugin. This saves any changes you may have just made.
  • Cancel - The cancel icon provides a way to come out of editing a particular plugin. You can then undo any changes made using the undo icon.
  • Plugin Meta (Name & URL) - Entering a plugin name will save it as an "Existing plugin", which will allow you to drag and drop the same plugin onto other pages, with the same content in. Any changes to one plugin will also make changes to the same plugin on any other pages. Entering a URL will link the plugin, with the ability to open in a new tab. View the Existing Plugins page to learn more.
  • Customisation (dependent on plugin) - Some plugins have customisation, such as the text plugin, where you can edit the appearance of content within the plugin. This includes the background colour, opacity, font colour and padding on the text.
  • Plugin Scopes - Allow certain scopes to see a plugin. For example - if you want a plugin to only be visible to users when they are logged in (not visible to the public) you can scope it to a particular user scope or "Require Login".
